Night Life in Paris/ Ile de France

Whether it is on a terrace beneath sweet summer skies, at flashy venues, operas, theatres, concerts or the latest discos, Parisian nights are always synonymous with celebrations and gatherings. All you have to do is let your desires lead the way.

Psychedelic, disco, underground, pop, Latin, gypsy or accordion music… By day or by night, for coffee or cocktails, al fresco or at the counter, there's something for everyone!

A jazzy atmosphere can be found; the cellars in Saint-Germain-des-Près or Saint-Michel have captured the hearts of jazz lovers ever since the Americans landed in France.

The Black & White stages at the Quai du Blues, Duc des Lombards, New Morning and the Caveau de la Huchette, to name the best, invite the greatest names in Jazz.

Whether you want to warm up or wind down, you can dance the night away in Paris, home to a multitude of nightspots: multi-level discos, themed evenings, raves, clubs hosting world-famous DJs, African, salsa, raï or old-time music… the hardest part is choosing where to go first!

Or take in a cabaret: The most beautiful women of the capital will entertain you with a very rousing show, featuring feathers, glitter and the French Cancan. Each show has its own particular theme and the theatres will usually serve dinner.
